To determine fit: fold your hand as if putting on a bangle bracelet and measure with a soft measuring tape or string around the widest part of your hand.  Convert measurement by comparing string or tape to a ruler or tape with millimeters. Measuring in millimeters will give the most accurate assessment of your hand size. For bangles, your wrist size is far less important than how the piece fits over the hand. Bangle bracelets should take a bit of work to get over the hand. Once on the wrist, the bangle should generally fall at your wrist/hand break.
